หลังจากแคนอนเปิดตัวกล้องตระกูล Rebel ออกมาหลายรุ่น ก็ทำให้ผู้สนใจในการถ่ายภาพต้องควักกระเป๋าจ่ายกันอย่างไม่ลังเลมากนัก เพราะราคาที่สามารถเป็นเจ้าของได้แม้มีงบไม่มาก เพื่อแลกกับการได้สัมผัสการถ่ายภาพด้วยกล้องแบบดิจิตอลSLR มันเหมาะมากสำหรับผู้ที่ไม่ต้องการลงทุนสูงเพื่อเรียนรู้ก่อนก้าวสู่การเป็นนักถ่ายภาพอย่างเต็มตัว แต่ว่าใช้กล้องที่ซื้อมายังไม่ทันเก่า แคนนอนเปิดตัวใหม่มายั่วน้ำลายให้เตรียมควักกระเป๋าตังค์จ่ายกันอีกแล้วครับท่าน สองรุ่น เป็นรุ่นคู่ขนานกับ EOS550D และ EOS1000D นั่นคือ รุ่น EOS600D(Rebel T3i), EOS1100D(Rebel T3)
ก่อนอื่นขอกล่าวถึงรุ่น EOS600D กันก่อน ซึ่งรุ่นดังกล่าวได้เพิ่มฟีเจอร์ที่แตกต่างจากรุ่นก่อน(EOS550D)โดยการดึงฟีเจอร์บางตัวจากรุ่นใหญ่อย่าง EOS60D มาใส่ไว้ด้วย
